In view of the 44th Chess Olympiad to be held in Chennai, a grand chess game was organized by Hon’ble Municipal Administration Minister KN Nehru in which 2140 students from government and government-aided private schools participated in a world record-breaking event at Tiruchirappalli Champion Anglo Indian High School on behalf of Tiruchirappalli district administration. In this event, certificates and medals were presented to the Corporation Minister and District Officer. Also in this event honourable Municipal Mayor Mr. Anbazagan and Corporation Commissioner Mr. Vaidyanathan E.P. Municipal Police Commissioner Mr. G. Karthikeyan I.P.S., and Superintendent of Police Mr. Sujith Kumar I.P.S., and Assembly Members Mr. SoundaraPandian Mr. Stalin Kumar Mr. M.
